Breeze Airways Expands Warm-Weather Routes with New Services from Connecticut

Breeze Airways, the low-cost airline, is set to enhance its warm-weather offerings next year with seasonal flights from Connecticut to Orlando and a novel service connecting the New England state to Orange County, California.

Commencing on May 29, 2024, Breeze will introduce nonstop service from Hartford to Orlando, operating three times per week. The flights, facilitated by Airbus A220-300 aircraft, will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, providing travelers with convenient options for their journeys.

Simultaneously, Breeze will inaugurate flights from Hartford to Orange County-Santa Ana in California. This service, offered five times weekly, is designated as a “BreezeThru service,” featuring a stopover without requiring passengers to change planes.

Expressing enthusiasm about the new routes, Breeze Airways President Tom Doxey stated, “These two new routes to Orlando and Orange County will connect our guests with two great family-friendly destinations – and access to both Disney parks!”

To mark the launch of these services, Breeze is offering attractive fares, with one-way tickets from Hartford to Orlando starting at just $59 for its “Nice” seats. The promotional sale, applicable for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from May 29, 2024, through Sept. 3, 2024, must be booked by 11:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 18.

Additionally, Breeze is providing a 35 percent discount on nearly all roundtrip base fares from Hartford by using the promo code “FAROUT” during checkout. This promotion, available until 11:59 p.m. ET on Dec. 14, is valid for travel from Dec. 18 through Sept. 1, 2024, excluding blackout dates from Dec. 21 to Dec. 23 and from Dec. 26 to Jan. 2, 2024.

Breeze Airways, established in 2021 by former JetBlue founder and current Breeze CEO David Neeleman, continues its rapid expansion, serving 45 cities in 26 states. The airline operates on a low-cost model, offering three fare options: “Nice,” “Nicer,” and “Nicest,” the latter including Breeze Ascent with perks like checked baggage, complimentary snacks and beverages, and in-seat AC power with USB and USB-C charging ports.

In recent developments, Breeze has sought approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to extend its reach to international warm-weather destinations and parts of Europe.
